Imagine Waukee 2040 Update
The City of Waukee is in the early stages of updating its Imagine Waukee 2040 plan. To understand Waukee's existing conditions and what our community needs in the future, we need to hear from you! We have two ways for residents, business owners, and community members to share their thoughts:
A Comprehensive Plan is a guiding document that provides a framework for local decision making and informs growth of the future Waukee. Topics include land use, parks, transportation, and utilities to name a few. It sets forth a broad vision for these topics in the community as well as outlining specific, goals, policies and actions for how to achieve them. You can read the current plan here.
The City of Waukee hired HKGi, a Minneapolis-based planning and landscape architecture firm, to lead the update of the Imagine 2040 plan. HKGi's experience expands over 40 years on numerous Comprehensive Planning efforts in Iowa and the upper Midwest. HKGi and City staff are working together to refresh this critical guide with community input.
Check back frequently to this website to stay up to date about the project. There will be several ways to be engaged throughout the planning process. Currently, you have the opportunity to provide your feedback by taking the community survey or providing input on the current conditions map. Stay tuned for more!

Can your account be suspended or terminated?
We may terminate or suspend access to your site and/or account immediately, without prior notice, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. HKGi, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, licensors and other partners are not responsible for any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising from a breach of this agreement and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.
What content do we own?
This website contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, patents, trade secrets and other proprietary information (“Intellectual Property”) of HKGi and its suppliers and licensors. HKGi owns and retains all proprietary rights in the intellectual property. All intellectual property in the content of this site including without limitation to text, software, source code, pages, documents and online graphics, photographs, sounds, audio, video and other interactive features are owned by or licensed to us.
Any original content that you submit or post on our site may be made available to the public and allows users to share your content (with the end user acknowledging your contribution) under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License.
